ISLAMABAD: Minister of State for Water and Power Abid Sher Ali has urged Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) to accept decision of the General Election Inquiry Commission (GEIC) and avoid levelling allegations against the parliamentarians.
Talking to a news channel, he said that PTI Chief Imran Khan promised before the GEIC report that he would accept the report findings. Now, Imran should fulfil his promise, he added.
Abid Sher said PTI stalwarts had used the derogatory language besides levelling baseless allegations against the parliamentarians.
Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) leadership had not used any unparliamentarily language against any politicians, he added.
He said that PTI workers had attacked the state institutions during sit-ins and protest demonstrations at D-chowk.
The minister said that Imran Khan's attitude was so amazing, adding that PTI leader had adopted such behavior after the reports of inquiry commission.
To a question, he said: "There was no plan of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) government to de-seating the PTI members".
To another question, he said that operation was conducted against the criminals and extortionists to restore peace in Karachi.
He said that operation in Karachi was carried out without any discrimination.
Abid Sher Ali said that action would be taken against those who were supporting or protecting the criminals in the country.
