Hoti urges political parties to avoid politics of protest

ISLAMABAD: Leader of Awami National Party Ameer Haider Khan Hoti here on Tuesday urged political parties to avoid politics of protest and agitation.

Talking to media outside the Parliament House, he said, "The whole nation and political parties should stand by the government and the Pakistan Army in war against terrorism".

He said his party would support the government's decision of operation against the terrorists. "We are with the government over the issue of country's security and defence".

Hoti asked the government to allocate sufficient funds for internally displaced person (IDPs).

To a question, he said, Afghanistan and NATO role was vital in North Waziristan operation.
