MITHI: Commissioner Mirpurkhas Division, Sajid Abro here on Thursday said that 52,000 wheat bags were distributed in far flung areas of Tharparkar during last four days.
He said 17 teams of livestock department were constantly looking after cattles and other animals day and night and vaccinating them against various diseases in drought hit areas.
Talking to media, after two-day visit of Tharparkar and overseeing relief works, the Commissioner told the media that during the last four days over 52,000 wheat bags were given to the drought-hit people.
While doctors and paramedical staffs were present for providing health facilities especially for children in 150 affected villages, with the assistance of Public Primary Health Institute.
