KARACHI: Gold improved by Rs 76 to close at Rs 48,814 per 10 grams in the local market Tuesday as its international price increased to $ 1,585 an ounce, market sources said.
According to Karachi Saraf Association official, tola (11.664 grams) price also rose by Rs 150 to Rs 56,950.
Silver closed higher at Rs 822.85 per 10 grams.
