LAHORE: Lahore Stock Exchange here on Tuesday witnessed bullish trend by gaining 49.00 points as the LSE Index-25 opened with 5342.35 points and closed at 5391.35 points.
The market's overall situation, however, did not correspond to an upward trend as it remained at 955,200 shares to close against previous turnover of 2.025 million shares, showing a downward slide of 1.069 million shares.
While, out of the total 97 active scrips 29 moved up, 13 shed values and 55 remained equal.
The top three Major Gainers of the day were Pakistan State Oil Company Limited, Engro Corporation Limited and Pakistan Oil Fields Limited by recording increase in their per share value by Rs 17.00, Rs 10.10 and Rs 6.40 respectively.
Akzo Nobel Pakistan Limited, Honda Atlas Cars (Pak) Limited and EFU General Insurance Limited were among top three, which lost their per share value by Rs 22.78, Rs 11.90 and Rs 7.59 respectively.
Top three Volume Leaders of the day included The Bank of Punjab Limited with 208,000 shares, Dewan Cement Limited (Pakistan) with 130,000 shares and Fauji Cement Company Limited with 79,500 shares.
