KARACHI: Like other parts of country, the Kashmir Solidarity Day was also observed in metropolis on Friday, to express solidarity with the people of Kashmir.
All the educational institutes and government organizations were closed across the city as there was the country-wide public holiday.
Different programmes were arranged by religious, political parties and institutions in city to highlight the importance of the day.
The directorate of human rights organized a walk to mark the day. The walk was started from Sindh Secretariat and concluded at Karachi Press Club.
A programme in connection with the Kashmir Solidarity Day was also organized by the Sindh Workers Welfare Board.
