PESHAWAR: National Accountability Bureau Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Thursday arrested Gul Khitab, an employee of the Bureau on the charges of illegal gratification.
The accused allegedly used name of the NAB and took bribe from people for getting them favor in cases against them in the Bureau.The arrest warrants of accused were issued by the Director General.
It is worth mentioning here that NAB is an apex anti-corruption body and amongst corrupt element the top priority is its own employees if they found indulged in corruption and corruption practices.
As per clear policy of Qamar Zaman Chaudhary Chairman NAB regarding zero tolerance against corruption, NAB KP took this step to convert the dream of establishing a corruption free society into reality.
The accused will be produced before the accountability court for obtaining his physical remand into NAB custody.
