Infants Hajj charges for South, North regions fixed at Rs10,270, Rs11,170 respectively %9

ISLAMABAD: The Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony has announced the Hajj dues of the infants, who would accompany their parents on Hajj 2015 under the Government Hajj Scheme.

According to a notification issued, the parents carrying an infant from Southern region were required to pay Rs 10,270 per infant while the parents travelling from North region to Saudia would pay Rs 11,170 for each accompanying infant.

The children born after November 9, 2013 has been treated as infants while other children and adults are required to pay normal Hajj dues.

The total charges included (10 percent of airfare) Rs 8,970 for South region and Rs 9,870 for North Region. The parents would have to pay Rs 400 for each infant on account of Hujjaj Mohafiz Fund.

And lastly Rs 900 would be charged from the parents of each infant as vaccination charges, the notification concluded.
