LAHORE: The position of the river inflows and outflows at Tarbela, Mangla and Chashma along with the reservoirs levels and the barrages on Monday wass as follows: Rivers: Indus at Tarbela-Inflows 20700 cusecs and Outflows 30000 cusecs, Kabul at Nowshera: Inflows 22500 cusecs and Outflows 22500 cusecs, Jhelum at Mangla- Inflows 22100 cusecs and Outflows 60000 cusecs, Chenab at Marala- Inflows 14900 cusecs and Outflows 3000 cusecs.
Barrages: Jinnah-Inflows 56300 cusecs and Outflows 48800 cusecs, Chashma -Inflows 65200 cusecs and Outflows 65000 cusecs, Taunsa- Inflows 91500 cusecs and Outflows 80100 cusecs, Panjnad- Inflows 17300 cusecs and Outflows 15600 cusecs, Guddu- Inflows 54100 cusecs and Outflows 52500 cusecs, Sukkur- Inflows 42600 cusecs and Outflows 24000 cusecs, Kotri- Inflows 3200 cusecs and Outflows Nil cusecs.
Reservoirs Level and Storage: Tarbela - dead level 1380 feet, present level 1439.76 feet, maximum level 1550 feet, live storage 1.261 million acre feet (MAF), Mangla - dead level 1040 feet, present level 1103.70 feet, maximum level 1242 feet, live storage 0.680 MAF, Chashma- dead level 637 feet, present level 646.90 feet, maximum level 649 feet, live storage 0.196 MAF.
The inflows and outflows of River Indus at Tarbela and Chashma, River Kabul at Nowshera and River Jhelum at Mangla have been reflected as mean flows of 24 hours, whereas the other flows have been gauged at 6.00 am.
