KARACHI: Sindh Minister for Transport and Mass Transit Mumtaz Hussain Jakhrani announced 5 to 8 percent reduction in intercity public transport, goods transport, rickshaw, taxi and school van fares after the recent reduction in petroleum products' prices, a statement issued here on Sunday.
The department has issued a notification in this regard.
He directed the Secretary Transport and all regional transport secretaries to make sure to provide the benefits of the recent reduction in petroleum products to the common people.
