LAHORE: Pakistan Ulema Council central chairman and president Wafaqul Masajid Pakistan Hafiz Tahir Mehmood Ashrafi and PUC general secretary Sahibzada Zahid Mehmood Qasmi have expressed deep grief over the demise of Saudi Arab King Shah Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz.
In a statement on Friday, the leaders declared the death of Saudi King as a great tragedy for the Muslim nations and paid tribute to his services for expansion of Harmain Sharifan.
Dua e Maghfrit was also offered in thousands of mosques allied with the WMP on the appeal of PUC chairman.
