ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industries (ICCI) has appreciated Prime Minister's speech and decision to form a judicial Commission to probe the rigging allegations.
Talking to APP, ICCI president Shoban Khalid said that it was a good step by the Prime Minister to resolve the present crisis, adding after the announcement of the decision, there was no reason to hold long march.
"Such march would create anarchy in the country which was moving in right direction as the PML-N government initiated a number of development projects" Shoban added.
He expressed satisfaction over the country's economic direction and said that National economy is recovering fast because of foreign investment in multiple new projects especially in the energy sector.
The PML-N government, he said, was also giving top priority to the power generation projects, citing that availability of sufficient energy will keep the industrial wheel on the progress as well as help flourish the trade and businesses.
ICCI president said that the agitating parties should avoid confrontation at this stage in the interest of the country and masses.
He added that government's decision to constitute judicial commission will not only address the election issue but also will benefit the democracy.
