ISLAMABAD: Asad Omer, a legislator of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), visited the blast site at Sabzi Mandi on Wednesday and expressed his concern over lack of security there.
He said he had also raised issue of lack of security in the federal capital on floor of the House.
Millions of rupees had been charged as tax from traders but security arrangements were not up to the mark, he told reporters.
The MNA, who also visited Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) to inquire after health of injured persons, lauded services of rescue team which reached the spot within 15 minutes.
Asad appreciated arrangements at the hospital for treatment of the injured and said their attendants seemed satisfied, which showed that the hospital administration had taken timely steps for ensuring good treatment.
