PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Engr. Shaukatullah here Monday expressed his heartfelt condolence on the sad demise of Member National Assembly and former provincial president PPP Women-Wing.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mehrunisa Afridi who died due to protected illness last night.
In his condolence message here, the Governor while expressing his deep sympathies with the members of the bereaved family, paid rich tributes to her social, human rights and political services for the country and termed her a seasoned politician with numerous qualities of head and hearts.
He said the service rendered by Mehrunisa Afridi for the country and KP would be remembered for long. The Governor prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and courage to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss with patience.
