KARACHI: The founder of Pakistan Association of Photojournalists (PAPJ), Zahid Hussein, called on Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf at the Governor House here on Sunday.
The Prime Minister presented a cheque of Rs one million in recognition of his services in the realms of photo journalism.
Zahid Hussein informed the Prime Minister that he has 150,000 negatives of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto and 45,000 of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto.
He said that these pertain to various political and social events.
Prime Minister praised the commitment and dedication of Zahid Hussein to the cause of the profession.
He hoped that these negatives would be preserved so that the younger generation could benefit from these.
