Rs40mn distributed among 2200 flood hit families

LAHORE: The process of distribution of Khadim-e-Aala Relief Card worth Rs. 20,000 among 22,500 flood affected families of tehsil Rojhan is being completed to be accomplished within two weeks.

Director General Provincial Disaster Management Authority, Mujahid Sherdil stated that on the instructions of Chief Minister Punjab so far Rs 40 million has been distributed among 2200 families.

He expressed these views while presiding over a meeting about provision of Khadim-e-Aala Relief Cards, here Monday, stated a hand out. Hameedullah Malik, Qasim Zaman Khan and other concerned officers were also present on the occasion.

While giving details, Mujahid Sherdil said that earlier, Rs 25.632 million were given as relief fund among 4380 flood affected families of Rajanpur, 5725 of DG Khan and 2711 of Jampur.
