ISLAMABAD: The Production of Air Conditioners and Refrigerators increased by 5.39 percent and 8.09 percent in the country respectively during the first ten months of the ongoing fiscal year.
According to the data of Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS), 180,778 air conditioners were produced during July, April (2011-12) against the production of 171,535 units during July April (2010-11).
Similarly, the production of refrigerators increased from 777,803 units last year.
