pakchinaBEIJING: Pakistan will participate in the China International Trade Fair for Fibres and Yarns to be held next month, the organizers of the event said.

At the 3-day exhibition, around 130 upstream yarns and fibre suppliers from ten countries and regions including Pakistan have confirmed their participation, said the organizers.

The exhibition will be held from March 29-31 at the World Trade Centre here in the capital city of Beijing.

The participating countries and regions are China, Hong Kong China, India, Indonesia, Pakistan, Singapore, Switzerland, Thailand, Turkey and Vietnam.

At the fair, the Pakistan Zone will feature cotton yarns at competitive prices.

The domestic exhibitors will group according to products including cotton yarn zone, linen/rmie zone, man-made fibre and yarn zone and debut nylon zone

Altogether, this year's participants occupy 5,500 sqm of trade space and feature a comprehensive range of natural fibres and yarns including cotton, wool, flax/ramie specialty products; elastic, fancy and blended yarns as well as regenerated and synthetic man-made fibres.

Yarn Expo is organized by Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd, the Sub-Council of Textile Industry, CCPIT, China Cotton Textile Association, China Wool Textile Association, China Chemical Fibres Association, China Bast & Leaf Fibres Textiles Association, and China Textile Information Centre.
