ISLAMABAD: Awami Muslim League (AML) head Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed on Monday advised Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to keep his focus on public issues in line with his mandate.
He made these remarks after Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif told the lower house that his government would try former military ruler Pervez Musharraf for high treason over November 3 Emergency Rule.
Rasheed said that PM Sharif should not deviate from his main job to solve the problems being faced by the people.
Meanwhile, PML-Z leader Ejaz-ul-Haq supported legal proceedings against dictators, but he questioned whether imposition of civil martial law was also part of the constitution.
