RAHIM YAR KHAN: Zarai Taraqiati Bank Limited (ZTBL) Rahim Yar Khan Zone has recovered Rs20 billion so far against the target of Rs30 billion.
This was disclosed by Zonal Chief ZTBL Jaffar Hussain Awan while talking to APP here Tuesday. He was hopeful that the bank would achieve it's target of Rs30 billion by December 31 in RYK zone.
He said the bank issued loans amounting to Rs18.5 billion to farmers from January to date and added loans were being issued according to ZTBL policy to facilitate growers irrespective of their social status.
The zonal chief explained that seven branches of ZTBL area were functioning in the zone, adding that recommendations had been sent to head office to open another five branches in the district to further facilitate farmers in this remote area of the province.
