Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Qamar Zaman Kaira has said that Prime Minister Imran Khan and his team have been completely exposed in every sector before the nation due to their incompetency and corrupt policies.

Kaira expressed these views while talking to media persons after meeting with former president Asif Ali Zardari at Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) here on Monday.

"The reality of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government has been exposed before the people. The people have known the hollow promises which Imran Khan made with them before election. Today, Pakistan is facing a big crisis of economic management and in coming days it would further increase. Khan should tell the nation where are the promises of bringing $200 billion in the country and to stop outflow of $10 billion," he questioned.

He said that during election campaign, Imran Khan had said that the people would pay taxes to his government by standing in queues. He said the government should clarify its position on dam fund. "Where has all the money gone that was collected for building a dam?" he asked.

He said Prime Minister Imran Khan and his team had become liabilities for the country. He said Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q), an ally of the PTI government, had already said if that economic crisis continues then nobody would be ready to come into power to run the country.

The PPP leader said the performance of the government was equal to zero and it had destroyed the economy of the country. He said PPP had always struggled to bring the country out of the financial crisis.

He pointed out, "We have had enough of the present government and we will not let this government continue for another four years." He said, "If the PTI government continues its tenure, it will be a disaster for the country."

Kaira said, "We have submitted an application in the apex court to shift back the cases of Zardari to Sindh." He said, "All the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) cases and documents are related to Sindh but these cases were shifted to Punjab."

He maintained that transferring Zardari's case to Punjab was above his understanding. "The cases on Asif Zardari were made in Sindh then what is the purpose of transferring the cases to another province?" Kaira questioned.

"They say the PPP Sindh government would influence the cases of Zardari in Sindh. If we accept this hypothesis for time being then Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa governments would not influence the cases of PTI members. The NAB has given a clean-chit to the people of PTI," he said.

The PPP leader said Zardari was not well but his morale was high. He mentioned that Zardari's children were allowed to meet their father only once in a week. "We condemn the government's attitude of intolerance," he added.
