PM seeks details about Nawaz Sharif’s health

• Imran Khan directed the authorities to provide Nawaz Sharif the best medical facilities as per the desire of his family members.
• The PM expressed prayers and good wishes for the health of Nawaz Sharif.
• Imran instructed Punjab CM to remain in contact with the personal physician of PML-N head.

(Karachi) Prime Minister Imran Khan has sought details about the health of PML-N head Nawaz Sharif from Punjab government.

This was stated by Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan in a twitter message on Wednesday.

She said the prime minister directed the authorities concerned to provide Nawaz Sharif the best medical facilities according to the desire of his family members.

Imran Khan also expressed prayers and good wishes for the health of Nawaz Sharif.

Imran Khan telephoned Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar and directed him to ensure that the former prime minister is provided adequate medical treatment.

Buzdar apprised the PM about the ongoing treatment of Nawaz Sharif and the steps taken by the health department.

PM Imran also directed the CM Punjab to remain in contact with the personal physician of Nawaz Sharif.

Nawaz Sharif’s health started improving after initial medical treatment at the Services Hospital.

The Pakistan Muslim League- Nawaz leader was admitted to the hospital on Monday night after his platelet count dropped to a precariously low level, requiring an emergency response.

Nawaz was rushed to Services Hospital from the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Lahore detention centre after his health condition deteriorated.

On October 22, PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif's health improved after the doctors injected platelets into his body. However, the party leaders expressed concern over his health.

PML-N leader Ahsan Iqbal expressed serious concern over Mian Nawaz Sharif's health condition and warned that if anything happens to the party chief then Imran Khan will be responsible for the consequences.

He said that the government is playing with the lives of our leaders. Iqbal maintained that Nawaz Sharif's platelets were less than 10,000 and it could have led to internal bleeding but by the prayers of the people, it did not happen.
