Trading Corporation of Pakistan (TCP) has announced to sell over 400 metric tons sweeping urea. The state-run grain trader has invited sealed bids for disposal of some 415.240 metric tons sweeping cargo of urea, in three lots, on "as is where is basis" stored at TCP's Landhi Godown.
Interested parties have been asked to submit bids with TCP up to 11am on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 which will be opened on the same day at 1130 hours in the TCP's Board Room in presence of bidders or their authorized representatives who may wish to be present.
The individuals/sole proprietorships/firms/companies, defaulted with the TCP, will not be eligible to participate in the tender. Further those individuals/sole proprietorships/ firms/companies, which have not fulfilled their contractual obligations with TCP will also not be eligible to participate in the bids, unless they clear their dues along with penalties or fulfil their contractual obligations with TCP, as the case may be, before the tender opening date.
According to tender term and conditions bids must be accompanied with the Earnest Money equivalent to at least 5 percent of the quoted value in the form of Bank Pay Order/Demand Draft in favour of TCP. Bids not accompanied with the required Earnest Money will not be considered. Any employee of TCP or his/her relatives are ineligible to take part in the process and bids not complying with the prescribed instructions or submitted conditionally or submitted without required documents or required bid/earnest money are liable to rejection. The TCP has a right to reject any or all bids at any time prior to their acceptance, as per rules.
The interested parties may inspect the urea at TCP's Landhi Godown on any working day during office hours, however only visual inspection is allowed.
The bids will remain valid for 30 (thirty) working days from the day on which the tender is opened excluding the opening day. The TCP will have the right to forfeit the earnest money if the successful bidder fails to fulfil the laid down terms and conditions or commits any breach thereof, without prejudice to TCP's right to claim damages/losses and take any other action.
