Although a daughter of a famous Bollywood icon, Sonam Kapoor has successfully made her name in the industry. Apart from challenging the fashion industry, Sonam is amongst those actresses who do not know how to be politically right.
The Khoobsoorat star was a regular one at Cannes for a past few years. However, the media always compares her to the very famous Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
Expressing her views, Sonam explained in her interview with Indian Express, “The comparisons are not in my head, it is what the media is doing. So they have to decide whether it is fair or unfair because they are the ones pitting one woman against the other whereas they should be celebrating all of them.”
She further continued, “That's not me, it is on somebody else, I don't consider this culture, I consider this foolishness. I don't even indulge in it.”
On the professional front, Sonam Kapoor will work on 'Padman', Sanjay Dutt biopic and 'Veera Di Wedding'.
