ISLAMABAD: Minister for Capital Administration and Development Division (CADD) Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhary Thursday said fate of daily wage teachers would be decided by a committee constituted on directions of Islamabad High Court.
In a written reply to a question asked by Night Mirza, the house was informed that a committee had been constituted on the directions of Islamabad High Court to examine the cases of daily wagers who were 1,364 working in educational institutions of the Federal Directorate of Education (FDE). Fate of these employees would be decided in the light of such recommendations of the committee, he said.
He said it was a fact that a notification was issued by the previous government to regularize the services of the daily wage employees working in educational institutions of Federal Directorate of Education and as a result, he added a total of 340 daily wage teachers were adjusted against available posts.
However, he added the remaining daily wagers could not be adjusted due to non-availability of seats.
