imageKARACHI: Around a hundred newly qualified Chartered Accountants received their certificates in an impressive ceremony hosted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP) in coordination with Southern Regional Committee (SRC), ICAP.

The theme for the program was "Milestone for a New Beginning," referring to the fact that achieving the CA qualification was just the beginning to a long journey of success.

ICAP President, Yacoob Suttar on the occasion felicitated the newly qualified CAs and advised them to be optimistic, positive and innovative in meeting the needs of the changing and challenging corporate world.

He said that the path to success can be achieved by setting high standards and efforts should be made to reach to such standards. He emphasized on improving interpersonal skills and broadening horizons to bring the best possible changes in organizations.

The Guest Speakers for the evening were Khaliq-ur-Rahman, Past President ICAP and Mir Muhammad Ali, Chief Executive Officer, UBL Fund Managers.

Certificates were distributed by Khaliq-ur-Rahman, Past President ICAP, Ahmed Saeed, Past President ICAP, Yacoob Suttar, President ICAP, Riaz A. Rehman Chamdia, Council Member ICAP, Ahmed Dawood Patel, Past President ICAP, Sharif Tabani, Council Member ICAP, Khalid Rahman, COO & Secretary ICAP, Arslan Khalid, Chairman SRC, Mir Muhammad Ali, CEO UBL Fund Managers, Junaid Shekha, Chairman CASA, Zulfikar Akhtar, Honorary Secretary SRC and Adnan Rizvi, Member SRC.

On the occasion, as a gesture of appreciation, Yacoob Suttar presented mementos to the guest speakers Khaliq-ur-Rahman and Mir Muhammad Ali.

Arslan Khalid, Chairman SRC gave the vote of thanks and congratulated the newly qualified chartered accountants for achieving a significant milestone.
