KARACHI: The admissions to the University of Karachi's Bachelors and Masters Programme for the year 2015 on the basis of pre-entry tests are starting from November 17, 2014.
According to an announcement by the KU, the admissions to Bachelors Programme will be offered in Applied Physics, Bio- technology, Business Administration, Chemical Engineering, Commerce, Computer Science, Economics, Education, English, Environmental Studies, Food Science and Technology, International Relations, Mass Communications, Microbiology, Public Administration, Special Education, Teachers Education (B.Ed). While in the Masters Programme, the admissions will be available in Business Administration, Commerce, Economics, Education, English, Environmental Studies, Mass Communications, Microbiology, Public Administration and Teachers Education- B.Ed (After 2-year ADE).
The admissions will be given in all these fields on the basis of the pre-entry test to be organised by the National Testing Service (NTS).
The admission forms and prospectus can be obtained/ submitted after payment of Rs 2,000/- at UBL Counter situated at the Silver Jubilee Gate of the University between November 17 and 27, 2014.
The admission tests for the Masters Programme will be held on December 07, 2014, while for the Bachelors Programme on December 14, 2014.
Meanwhile, admissions on Open-Merit will start from December 08, 2014. The aspirants may obtain/ submit admission forms between December 08 and December 22, 2014.
