KARACHI: An event will be arranged at the Department of Plant Protection here on Tuesday to recognize the contributions made by mango growers and fruit exporters of the country.
Federal Minister for National Food Security and Research (NFSR), Sikander Hayat Khan Bosan will be chief guest at the Mango Star Award Ceremony.
Organisers of the event said the agriculture scientists would be awarded for their role to address the issue of mango fly and contributing to the produce of export quality mangoes, as per international standards, to European Union and other countries, helping country to earn precious foreign exchange.
