JHANG: All the heads of Health and Environment Protection departments, TMOs and staff of district administration were directed by DCO Raja Khurram Shahzad Omer to speed up efforts to prevent dengue fever.
"The Chief Secretary is personally monitoring the campaign against dengue fever and negligence of any kind would not be tolerated at any cost", the DCO warned. He directed all TMOs to ensure cleanliness of the cities and towns as well as efficient disposal of sewerage water.
All the shops selling tyres, junkyards and meat shops must comply with the protective guideline against dengue virus, he said.
He sought weekly reports from the concerned officials.
