Matt DamonMatt Damon, co-founder of Water.Org, the non-profit organization that aims at raising awareness and funds for the global water and sanitation crisis, has declared he will "...not to go to the bathroom until everyone in the whole world has access to clean water and sanitation."

Celebrity buddies, Jessica Biel (“The Texas Chainsaw Massacre”), Golden Globe winner Jason Bateman (“Arrested Development”) and Josh Gad (“Love and Other Drugs”) have now joined his campaign. In a comic video showing their dedication to the serious cause, Biel reveals she has never gone to the bathroom in her entire life and Bateman confesses he’s been using the sink instead.

Following a theatrical conference held by the Talented Mr. Ripley on 12th February, in which he first announced the strike, some astounding statistics were rolled out. Namely that proper sanitation is inaccessible to 2.5 billion people in the world, clean drinking water is unavailable for 800 million people and 4000 children aged less than five perish daily from preventable water-related diseases.

The Oscar-winner aims to raise enough funds by World Water Day observed on March 22. Until then, he will say no to the loo. You can help relieve (no puns intended) the actor by joining his cause.
