RAWALPINDI: An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) here on Saturday has accepted two applications about 2008 Mumbai attacks convict Ajmal Kasab and accused Fahim Ansari.

The court will start hearing of the petitions from March 5.

During the hearing of the case, Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) prosecutor  Chaudhry Zulifiqar in his petition said that a Pakistani court had issued the non-bailable warrants for Ajmal Kasab and Fahim Ansari while both the accused are not in  Pakistan and their arrest warrants could not be delivered to them.

It is compulsory under the Pakistani Laws that the court should declare both of them absconders.

In another application, the defense lawyer Khawaja Sultan told the court that both the accused were already convicted by the Indian court. So they could not be prosecuted for the same case in Pakistan.
