Indian model Abrar Zahoor, who will be making his Bollywood debut with an upcoming film ‘Neerja’ has slapped and kicked actress Sonam Kapoor in real to justify his negative role in the movie.
Model Abrar Zahoor, who plays the antagonist in the film, told Times Of India that some scenes in the film required him to slap and kick Sonam and as the filmmaker wanted the scenes to be real, the actress didn’t mind getting slapped by him in real.
He said, “It was a fabulous experience to work on the film. Ram (Madhwani) is a treat to work with. He wanted us to be as realistic as possible. In fact, there are scenes that required me to slap and kick Sonam. It was all real and in one scene I even kicked her in the stomach. She was amazing to work with and is so humble”.
Bollywood fashionista will be seen playing the lead role in the movie based on a real-life story of 23-year-old flight attendant, Neerja Bhanot who saved many lives during the 1986 hijacking of an American airliner in Karachi.
