Pakistani heartthrob Fawad Khan has been receiving offers ever since he made his Bollywood debut with ‘Khoobsurat’ opposite fashionista Sonam Kapoor. He is now all set to tie knot once again (on-screen) with Sohail Khan’s production venture ‘My Punjabi Nikaah’.
Reportedly he has another Bollywood film in his kitty now. The Pakistani actor has been approached by Sohail Khan for his upcoming Bollywood movie ‘My Punjabi Nikaah‘.
According to Indian media reports, ‘My Punjabi Nikaah’ is a romantic comedy loosely based on ‘My Big Fat Greek Wedding’. Fawad will play a nawab’s son in the film – a Muslim who falls in love with a Hindu girl. Fawad Khan will be seen assuming the lead part in the film.
The film was initially supposed to star Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan in 2005, but for some reason did not manage to kick off. Sohail Khan later confirmed that Salman Khan would not be a part of the project due to date conflicts.
Fawad Khan has been flooded with Bollywood offers, among which he has confirmed his presence in one of the biggest production house of India, Karan Johar’s ‘Dharma Productions’. His upcoming movie ‘Kapoor and Sons’ is being directed by Shakun Batra and stars Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra in the lead roles.
