imageStuntman and stunt coordinator Jerry Alan, who worked on several James Bond films, has died at the age of 75.

According to media reports the industry stuntman passed away in Tampa, Florida after battling throat and mouth cancer. Alan did stunts on the Bond films, ‘Diamonds Are Forever’ (1971), ‘The Man with the Golden Gun’ (1974) and ‘Casino Royale’ (2006) and worked on TV series ‘Gunsmoke’, ‘Bonanza and The Dukes of Hazzard’.

At age 68, Alan flipped a car off a pipe ramp for a stunt in the film 'Live Evil' (2009), which was produced by Terry, who called the stuntman ‘one of my first teachers in this business’. He also took his talents to the small screen. Prior to his Hollywood career, he served in the U.S. Navy and Army and helped start the Florida Motion Picture and Television Association.
