‘The Fantastic Four’ star Kate Mara may soon be joining the cast of Ridley Scott's next film ‘The Martian’.
As source reveals that, if Mara takes the offer she would join Matt Damon on the cast. Damon will play a NASA astronaut who has been left stranded on Mars after being separated from his crewmates.
Andy Weir's book ‘The Martian’ has been set up at 20th Century Fox, which issued a print edition this past February. The story centers on an astronaut left stranded on Mars, so far there’s no release date mentioned but the film is scheduled to begin shooting in November.
The actress has recently wrapped up her shoots for an upcoming ‘Fantastic Four’ franchise which will hit theatres somewhere in June next year.
