imageIndia’s veteran actor Paresh Rawal praised Pakistani dramas and said that they are too superior to compete with bollywood movies.

Though, Bollywood movies have been admired across the globe but the veteran actor thinks that the content generated by Indian cinema is not that good in terms of quality.

Rawal said that in terms of content we are not in a position to compare ourselves with Pakistani dramas, local media reported.

According to Indian media while promoting his upcoming movie ‘Raja Natwarlal’ he said in an interview, “Forget Hollywood, we cannot even compare our films to Pakistani shows. They are far more superior to what we produce here. We need to make some more smart films where we don’t take our audience for granted and think that they will not understand what we want to convey”.

Pakistani dramas are now gaining wide popularity in India with many Pakistani shows like ‘Zindagi Gulzar Hai’, ‘Maat’, ‘Mere Qatil Mere Didaar’, ‘Behad’, ‘Thakan’ etc has gone on-air on their private TV channel.
