According to the Deccan Chronicle, Bollywood actresses Deepika Padukone and Kareena Kapoor are in contention for the title role of the leading lady in Madhur Bhandarkar's next film.
Reports have been doing the rounds of Padukone being under Bhandarkar’s consideration, but now sources reveal Kapoor has also been approached for the role.
The director has previously worked with Kapoor on ‘Heroine’, whereas he has never worked with Padukone, who has given several block-buster films including ‘Ram-Leela’, ‘Chennai Express’, ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’ and ‘Cocktail’.
Both the actresses have reportedly shown interest in the flick, but now it remains to be seen who will be Bhandarkar’s final choice.
