Popular Indian TV show ‘Comedy Nights with Kapil’ will go on-air once in a week now. Stand-up comedian and host of the show Kapil Sharma, who is all set make his Bollywood debut with Abbas Mustan’s upcoming flick is planning to make his popular TV show a weekly affair.
The creative director Preeti Simoes shared the information on micro-blogging site Twitter saying, “We are now once a week, which means #cnwk will be on every Sunday at 10pm. No more Saturdays”.
Previously it has been reported that the show will go off-air due to the busy schedule of Kapil Sharma, but a lot of viewers objected to that due to which Kapil had to let go off his movie ‘Bank Chor’ after which Riteish Deshmukh was signed for the film.
This time Kapil Sharma has convinced the channel to make his show once a week so that he can give his time and energy to his upcoming untitled movie.
India’s highest rated TV show has become one of a popular platform to promote the latest movies and interact with the live audience. Many celebrities and big names of Bollywood have shown up in this show to promote their movies in a unique way.
