Salman Khan, who is hosting current season of high-voltage reality show ‘Bigg Boss’ for the fifth consecutive time may be replaced by choreographer-filmmaker Farah Khan in January.
As per latest reports the makers of ‘Bigg Boss season 8’ is planning to extend the show till February next year. Bigg Boss 8, which was supposed to end on January 4 2015, might get extension for one more month.
According to Indian media reports, “The production team had a meeting with the contestants for almost an hour and discussed the idea of extending the show for a month. Most of the contestants inside the house have agreed for it,” reveals a source closely associated with the show.
However, Salman Khan’s contract expires in January and he will be shooting for Bajrangi Bhaijaan after that. So somebody had to replace him. The production team first approached Karan Johar and Anil Kapoor to replace Khan. However, both of them refused. Hence Farah Khan who apparently loves the show, was asked to come on board, media reported.
Confirmation is yet to be made by the makers and host of the season.
