Ghafoor Haidery meets Rehman Malik

rehmanmalikISLAMABAD: Leader of the Opposition in the Senate, Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haidery met Interior Minister Rehman A. Malik and discussed various matters related to law and order situation, establishment of Passport Office in Qalat and problems being faced by farmers of Balochistan due to load-shedding.

The Interior Minister assured Leader of the Opposition in the Senate for resolving problems of masses in the province of Balochistan on priority basis and apprised him about steps being taken by the government in this regard.

The government is making all-out efforts for the development of Balochistan by utilising all available resources, the Minister said.

The Minister also congratulated Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haidery for his appointment as Leader of the Opposition in the Upper House of Parliament.

He also announced the establishment of Passport Office in Qalat for providing opportunity to people of the remote area to get passports locally.

Maulana Ghafoor Haidery thanked Rehman Malik for making an announcement to establish Passport Office. He said that his party Jamiat Ulema Islam (F) is an allied party of the government in the provincial government of Balochistan. He also assured the Minister that the Alliance would continue working in the future.
