RECORDER REPORT: PSX close of day

KARACHI: Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) 100 index closed higher on Wednesday having 45413.42 points with a positive change of 19.36 and volume of 108,489,220 shares.

High and Low were 46358.26 and 45152.63 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 204,263,200 shares with 358 total traded companies out of which 157 were up 186 were down and 15 were unchanged.

COMMERCIAL BANKS was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 31,470,400 shares. It was followed by TECHNOLOGY & COMMUNICATION with a total traded volume of 28,525,000 shares.

The three top traded companies were B.O.Punjab with a volume of 16,254,500 and price per share of 11.24 (0.08), Ittefaq Iron Ind Ltd with a volume of 7,685,000 and price per share of 30.41 (0.89) and Pak Int.Bulk with a volume of 6,541,000 and price per share of 24.37 (1.16).

.The top three advancers were Sapphire Fiber with price per share 1314.79 (62.60), Mari Petroleum with price per share of 1602.31 (53.94) and Colgate Palmolive share of 2300.00 (50.00).

The top three decliners were Indus Motor Co with price per share of 1697.97 (65.99), Millat Tractors with price per share of 1298.47 (49.86) and Pak Suzuki share of 736.22 (38.55).
