RECORDER REPORT: PSX mid day update

KARACHI: On Wednesday, until mid day, KSE-100 Index was at 49830.50 with a positive change of 45.33 and volume of 53,608,500 shares.

High and Low were 49954.04 and 49771.86 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 155,400,120 shares with 338 total traded companies out of which 171 were up, 149 were down and 18 were unchanged.

CHEMICAL was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 22,989,960 shares. It was followed by TEXTILE COMPOSITE with a total traded volume of 16,337,560 shares.

The three top traded companies were B.O.Punjab with a volume of 10,241,000 and price per share of 13.38 (0.68), Lotte Chemical with a volume 9,098,500 of price per share of 11.70 (0.09), Ghani Automobile with a volume 7,164,500 of price per share of 15.77 (0.47).

The top three advancers were Nestle PakistanXD with price per share 9499.00 (299.00), Sanofi-AventisXD with price per share of 2246.47 (106.97) and Indus Motor Co share of 2025.00 (92.12).

The top three decliners were Rafhan MaizeXD with price per share of 7200.00 (150.00), Wyeth Pak LtdXD with price per share of 2450.00 (21.51) and K.S.B.PumpsXD per share of 399.95 (21.05).
