Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chief Selector Inzamam ul Haq announced the names of 31 players who would join the training camp for the upcoming tour of West Indies on Thursday.
Kamran Akmal and Ahmad Shahzad made it into the PCBs training camp, after good showing at the domestic circuit and in the recently concluded Pakistan Super League (PSL).
Players who emerged as the future talent for Pakistan in the PSL in the likes of Fakhar Zaman, Osama Mir, Usman Shinwari and Rumman Raees got the award for exhibiting top performance in the tournament after they were selected into the training camp.
Muhammad Abbas, who grabbed 71 wickets in the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy and was declared the best bowler of the tournament, would also participate in the training camp.
The weekly camp for ODI and Twenty20 will be from March 11 to March 17 at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore.
Meanwhile, the training camp for Test matches will be announced later.
