imagePESHAWAR: The Provincial government on Thursday announced to bear all expenses incurred on the funeral rites of victims of PIA plane crashed near Abbottabad where 48 people died in an incident.

The KP government on the directives of Chief Minister Khyber Pakthunkhwa has announced to bear all the expenses incurred on purchase of coffins and boxes for dead bodies besides paying rent charges for their shifting etc to their native areas, says PDMA press release.

The government has issued special directives to Provincial Disasters Management Authority (PDMA) to complete all the necessary arrangements in this connection.

The PDMA has started shifting of bodies to Ayub Medical College Abbottabad where specialist teams of NADRA along with biometric system experts would available for victims' identification.

Following identification, the bodies of victims would be shifted to the native areas for burial. The Spokesman said PDMA has given special directives to the district administration Abbottabad to expedite rescue operation.

Secretary Relief Ahmed Hanif Orakzai has ordered Rescue 1122 and special teams of PDMA Khyber Pakthunkhwa to immediately move Abbotabad and remain present at Ayub Medical College's desk for assistance of people till completion of the rescue operation.

According to PDMA Spokesman, officials of district administration, Pak Army jawans, local police and Resuce 1122 are participating in the rescue and relief operation.

The PDMA has assigned additional duties to officials in its Control Room for assistance of people of Khyber Pakthunkhwa that can be contacted on 1700 telephone number.
