HILLA: Two roadside blasts and a car bomb targeting Shias south of Baghdad killed at least 23 people and injured more than 84 on Thursday, security and medical officials said.
In the city of Hilla, two roadside bombs targeted a group of Shia pilgrims, killing 18 people and wounding 71 others, officials said, raising the previous toll, while a car bomb in the shrine city of Karbala killed five people and wounded 13.
