HONG KONG: Hong Kong closed 0.23 percent higher on Wednesday, the first trading session after a two-day holiday, with a slight improvement in Chinese manufacturing providing support.
Hong Kong's benchmark Hang Seng Index climbed 47.90 points to 20,888.28 on turnover of HK$47.82 billion ($6.17 billion).
