CHICAGO: A US judge on Wednesday temporarily halted bondholder lawsuits against Caesars Entertainment Corp seeking up to $11.4 billion.
Caesars has said that rulings favorable to hedge fund bondholders suing in New York and Delaware courts could force the company into bankruptcy alongside its operating unit, which filed for Chapter 11 protection in January 2015.
Caesars has denied any wrongdoing.
