BANGKOK: Thailand's exports may expand more than five percent in 2014 thanks to improving demand from Europe and the United States, the country's commerce minister said on Monday.
Exports will grow around 1 percent this year, Niwatthamrong Bunsongphaisan told reporters before a meeting with officials on the outlook for Thai trade.
"Thai exports next year could expand more than five percent from around 1 percent growth this year. We are quite optimistic on the outlook of the global economy," he said.
