shahrukh-jatoiKARACHI: Shahrukh Jatoi may be arrested in Dubai in two days, the media reported on Wednesday.

According to Inspector General Sindh Fayyaz Leghari, Pakistan authorities have dispatched concerned documents to the Dubai police for necessary action to arrest Shahrukh Jatoi.

On Tuesday, it had been reported that the prime accused in the murder of a 20-year-old Shahzeb Khan, Shahrukh Jatoi, was arrested in Dubai with assistance from Interpol and Dubai CID authorities. But it is now being reported that Jatoi will be arrested and handed over to Pakistani authorities in two days.

Reports suggest that the police department came into prompt action late Monday and left for Duabi to arrest Jatoi following orders from the Chief Justice of Pakistan, who took suo motu notice of the case.

The police is expected to arrive in Pakistan with the main accused within the next 24 hours.

Earlier, a non-bailable arrest warrant was issued by the Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) against Shahrukh Jatoi and his father Sikandar Jatoi.

It is also being reported that at least three other accomplices, namely Asif Lund, Mazhar Khaliq and Azhar Khaliq may have also fled to Dubai.
