KARACHI: UK government is fully committed to building on trade relations with Pakistan, said British Deputy High Commissioner and Director UK Trade & Investment for Pakistan Francis Campbell.
Speaking at launch of Ranger Rover Evoque at British Deputy High Commission here, he said: “We are delighted to partner with Sigma Motors to bring such a prestigious British brand to Pakistan. He congratulated Sigma Motors for enhancing automobile sector in Pakistan by introducing advanced UK technologies and creating thousands of jobs in this country. "Such investments will contribute to our goal of increasing trade between two countries every year to £2.5 billion by year 2015.”
CEO Sigma Motors Colonel (R) Syed Zafaruddin Ahmad said “given the fact that sustainable economy is possible only by establishing large and medium industries, Sigma Motors is creating direct or indirect job opportunities for about 1,000 families in Pakistan.”
